NEW SKATE AND BIKE PARK FOR SCARBOROUGH’S NORTH BAY

A New Skate and Bike Park for Scarborough's North Bay

Guests staying at The Clifton Hotel in Scarborough will soon have the opportunity to use a new skate and bike park when a disused compound on Scarborough’s Marine Drive is transformed.

The site on Scarborough’s North Bay is close to a spot known to locals as Hairy Bob’s Cave and it has already attracted the support of the town’s Civic Society and skaters.

The Civic Society feel that a specifically designed public viewing area for people to watch the skaters performing, would entice people to visit Scarborough’s newest facility.

The site for the new skate park, like The Clifton Hotel in Scarborough, looks out across the beautiful North Bay. The location is nicely contained between the slope of Scarborough Castle and Marine Drive
